"It was a thorough butt-whipping and it started with me," Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo said. "We got outcoached and we got outplayed. I thought we were ready and obviously we were not. The defense didn't get off to the start we wanted. The offense never got untracked and in the special teams we had some blunders that hurt us. That was the worst performance we've had as a team in a long time."
