Death of a Classmate HENRY "CI" CIANFLONE - 16th Co.


HENRY "CI" CIANFLONE Sept. 19, 1930 to Oct. 10, 2009 Henry was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1954 and served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, flying four-engine DC-6s. While stationed at McGuire AFB, he met his wife, Lucille. They married and moved to San Diego in 1959. Henry worked for General Dynamics for 26 years until his retirement. He enjoyed family get-togethers and traveling and was an avid sports fan. Henry passed away Saturday with his wife and four children at his side. He is survived by his wife, Lucille; his four children, Mark, David, Michael, and Dawn; his five grandchildren, Domenico, Nicholas, Samuel, Lucas, and Giovanni; and his brother, Edmond. He will be dearly missed. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at El Camino Memorial Park Chapel in Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego 92121. Prior to the Service, Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Alzheimer's Association of San Dieg
