This is to update attendees on a slight change of plans, provide the list of attendees and to explain how we will pay for all of this fun.
SOCIAL EVENTS. Planned Social group events for all attendees:
1. The Tuesday, 10 April evening party is now planned to take place beginning at 6 PM on the base at the T-Bar (ground floor of our hotel, Building 844, where most attendees are residing). Cash Bar and special catered heavy hors d'oeuvers in our tent overlooking the river. ($15.00 each attendee).
2. Wednesday, 11 April evening group dinner party at the O'club. Cash bar opens at 6:30 PM, special Beef and Reef dinner buffet served at 7:15 PM .($30.00 each attendee,includes gratuity).
3. Thursday, 12 April "wrap up luncheon event" on the porch at the golf club for prizes and a group picture. Special lunch buffet of salad, sandwich, tea.($12.00 each attendee).
4. Thursday, 12 April, cocktails at Tom & Lynn Watson's home 5-7 PM, then out to a local restaurant for dinner. We live on Fleming Island, about 12 miles south of NAS Jax. (20-30 minutes in traffic).
****I'd like to know your INTENTIONS to attend each of these events AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we can make preparations. THEN, I request your check made to me to arrive not later than April Fools Day for these social events (for example, a couple attending all events would send a check to me for $114.00, ($15+$30+$12=$57 X 2= $114.00).
SNOWBIRD GOLF EVENTS (more details for the 25 golfers from Les Huffman soon):
Note: The golf club's Mulligans Restaurant and Bar serves from 6:30 AM until 9 PM daily.
Tuesday, practice rounds as desired and arranged by calling the pro shop at (904) 542-3249, call 6 days ahead to assure getting your preferred tee times. Current plan is to play the BLUE/RED course for the tournament. Pay pro shop $26 per player and get special range practice balls for the SNOWBIRD group. Please plan to finish in time to meet at the T-Bar Party
which starts at 6 PM.
Wednesday, first round of the annual SNOWBIRD golf tournament tee times will start about 11:30 AM (details later from Les and Frank). Pay the pro shop and get complimentary range practice balls for SNOWBIRD golfers.
Thursday, final round of the annual SNOWBIRD golf tournament. Expect a shotgun start for all golfers at about 8:30AM. SNOWBIRD Trophy presented at the wrap-up luncheon at the golf club.
