Services for Jim Bell

I received the following email from Dora Bell:

After much delay, we can finally say that the original date assigned for Jim’s burial at Arlington National Cemetery is the date we will use. Because it conflicts with the POW reunion in San Antonio that weekend we tried very hard to get a date change, but the earliest date offered was in May, and I just can’t handle waiting that long.  I’m so sorry that many of Jim’s fellow-POWs will be unable to be here, but I hope that some of those who are not going to San Antonio will be with us….and the others will be here in spirit.  So here it is:

Funeral Service at The Old Post Chapel, Fort Myer

           11 a.m.     March 20th

(Suggested arrival at the chapel by 10:30 a.m.)

       Followed by Interment with full military honors

                 at Arlington National Cemetery

                               

        Reception at Fort Myer Officers Club

    (Please let me know if  you plan to attend)
