Shirley Jean Herres (April 13, 1936 - September 20, 2016)

Shirley Jean Herres, 80, of Lincoln, passed away September 20, 2016. Born April 13, 1936 in San Antonio, TX to William Randolph and Effie Lily (Downum) Sneckner. Homemaker. Member of First-Plymouth Church, Random Acts of Kindness, Community Women's Club and Welcome Wagon.

Family members include her daughters, Julie (Bill) Latenser and Jennifer Babeon; son, Michael (Janelle) Herres; grandchildren, Laura (Adam) Vehe, Sarah (Justin) Freitag, William and Jonathan Latenser, Bobby (Jasmine) Babeon, Danie (Monica) Babeon, Kate (Lance) Edwards, Will (Jes) Herres, Alexander and Macrae Zappala; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Jaynie, Lee, Grace, Nola, Bobby and Charlotte; brother, William (Lova) Sneckner; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Robert Herres. 

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday (9-23-16) First-Plymouth Church, 2000 'D' Street with Rev. Dr. Jim Keck officiating. Inurnment in Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. 

Memorials in lieu of flowers to Random Acts of Kindness c/o Nancy Borrell or American Cancer Society.
