I regret to report that classmate Lu Yarger's wife, Marcia, notified me that Lu passed away at a little before 3 PM today in St. Lukes Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.Marcia asked that his classmates and friends be notified and she made a special request that those who knew Lu and could add any comments or anecdotes about how Lu's life had touched them would please send appropriate remarks to her to be included with Lu's memoirs.Lu was in the process of completing his memoirs to be passed to his two year old great grandson, Aden, when Aden is old enough to appreciate the life lessons to be learned from Lu's life. Marcia intends to complete Lu's memoirs relatively soon and include any comments classmates would send to her. Her mail and email addresses are included below.

Funeral plans are for cremation and inurnmnt at the Naval Academy at some future date.

Marcia plans an "at home" reception at their Ponte Vedra Beach home this Sunday, 4 March 2007. No other plans are known at this time.
