Jane G. Poe (age 71) passed away peacefully of heart failure at her home in McLean, Virginia on Friday, June 5, 2009. She was the widow of Brig. Gen. Eugene M. Poe, Jr., USAF (Ret.). Jane was a teacher, published author & a bridge life Master. She was active in several charitable concerns, including the Air Force Arlington Ladies & ARCS of which she was past president. She is survived by two sons, Matthew of Baltimore, Maryland & Justin of McLean, Virginia, & six grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Money and King funeral Home 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna , VA on Tuesday August 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Fort Myer Old Post Chapel on Wednesday , August 19 at 9 a. m. followed by internment at Arlington National Cemetery . In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to ARCS Endowment Fund, 6513 Deidre Terr., Mc Lean , VA 22101.
