Death of a Classmate - Robert J Ganter - 7th Co.


Received the following from Harv Taffet:

26July10 - Robert J. Ganter Sr., 79, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, July
23, 2010, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in
Natrona, Pennsylvania, he resided in Holmdel before moving to Aberdeen. He
was a communicant of St. Clement

Roman Catholic Church in Matawan and was a member of the American Legion of
Natrona, PA and the Knights of Columbus, Keyport. He graduated from the U.S.
Naval Academy in Annapolis and then served in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot.
Bob was a plant manager for various glass bottle manufacturers throughout
his working career.

He was predeceased by his brothers, William and Harry. He is survived by his
wife, Eleanor; his three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Jean, Thomas
and Theresa, and Ronald and Patricia; four daughters and sons-in-law,
Margaret and Lawrence Burns, Deborah

and Christopher Carbone, Michelle and Peter Don-hauser, and Jennifer and
Royden Kleinert; 23 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to visit on Sunday, July 25th, from 2 to 7 pm at the
Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9North, Manalapan. A
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, July 26th, at 10 am, at St.
Clement Church, Matawan. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum,
Marlboro.
