Here is a pitcture of me sixty years later(!) in my old plebe year hat.
I had given to my younger brother almost sixty years ago, and he returned it to me this Christmas as a present. It still has my name stenciled in it and my laundry number (7028) wtitten inside the brim in black marker ink.
I gave it to my little five year old grandson Jay today when they were over having Christmas Dinner with us.
(I think he was really impressed).
