Death of a Classmate- Robert Olsen - 19th Co.

Robert "Bob" Miller Olsen, 81, of Roswell, GA passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Bob was born in Rockaway Beach, New York on August 9, 1932 to the late Gustav and Millie Olsen. After high school Bob attended college at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Upon graduating in 1954, he entered the Navy, where he spent 20 years as a Surface Warfare Naval Officer and served as Commanding Officer of the USS Arikara. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sue, and their two sons, Scott and Pete. Burial services will be held at the Naval Academy Chapel in January 2014. H.M.
