Dear Family and Friends,
Our dearly beloved dad, Francis J. McCarthy, Jr. (Jim), died peacefully early Thursday morning, surrounded by family.
We are so grateful for all the prayers, they were a great comfort, especially to Dad. After he received last rights, he was very much at peace and ready to start his journey to his Heavenly home.
Please continue to pray for the repose of his soul and comfort and consolation to our family, especially for mom.
The viewing will be at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield, VA on Wednesday, May 20,2 - 4pm and 6 - 8pm.
The funeral will be on Thursday, May 21, 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1020 Springvale Rd, Great Falls, VA with a reception to follow afterwards in the church hall.
