Death of a Classmate - Albert Freer - 2nd Co.





Lt. Col. Albert Paddock Freer, Jr. (February 22, 1931 - March 13, 2016)

Lieutenant Colonel Albert "Al" Paddock Freer, Jr., U. S. Air Force retired, of Tanglewood Shores, Bracey, Virginia, died Sunday, March, 13, 2016 at his residence at the age of 85. He was a veteran during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. Mr. Freer is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Gertrude McGinnes "Trudy" Freer, his son Albert Paddock Freer, III and wife Nancy of Bracey, Virginia, his daughter Catherine Freer Ball and husband Dennis of Florence, Oregon, three grandchildren; David Foard Freer and wife Sara of Franklinton, North Carolina, Daniel Forrest Freer and wife Nektaria of San Luis Obispo, California, and Nicholas Allen Ball of Florence, Oregon, and a step granddaughter Juli Brown and three step great granddaughters Haylee, Jadyn, and Jalyssa of Fairfax, Virginia. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the River Ridge Chapel, Bracey at 1:00 P.M. The funeral and interment will take place at a later date, (to be announced) at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. Online condolences may be sent through www.crowderhitecrews.com.
